The standards of men’s style are quite different today than they were a few years back. Nowadays, you just can’t look your best if your bathroom isn’t equipped with the proper products that will keep your hair pretty.

But what if you don’t have time for all that or you simply don’t see yourself as a metrosexual? Then these household items come to save the day, as you’ll always have something to turn to when you want your hair to look awesome for a date or a night out.

Hair Of Milk And Honey

Even though we’ve said ‘milk and honey’, the ‘milk’ part actually refers to yogurt. For example, our hair can lose its shine when we don’t have time to wash it.

That’s where yogurt comes in, as you can make your hair shiny by massaging just a handful of yogurt in it.

Wash your hair after 20 minutes of yogurt treatment, and it will regain its shine. As for honey, you can use it to cure the “dry-hair syndrome.”

Honey is really good at keeping the moisture in, so dissolve it in some warm water and wash your hair with it.

When It Doubt, Order A Beer

Some say that a dog isn’t a man’s best friend, but beer is. We won’t discuss the logic of it, but beer’s hair repair properties might just work in its favor here.

Beer is packed with protein, which can seriously help you out with swelling hair shafts. Mix a few tablespoons of beer with warm water and you’ll have healthier and fuller hair. Once the job is done, you can have the rest of the bottle for yourself.

Last, but not least, are lemons. This summer fruit isn’t only a perfect addition to any cocktail, but can also help you get rid of dandruff.

Simply mix some lemon juice with warm water and let it sit in your hair for about 20 minutes. It will get rid of the dry, dead skin from your scalp, and you won’t have to worry about pesky dandruff for some time.
