Aging is something nobody can avoid, no matter what you do. It’s slow, gradual, and almost unnoticeable, but it’s there. For years, pharmaceutical companies and scientists were trying to come up with the perfect anti-aging formula, but as far as we know, that’s not happening yet.

Luckily for us, there actually are some things anyone can do not to stop the process, but to slow it down. Here are a couple of everyday things that will let you live longer.

Eating Right Is Half The Battle

By now everyone knows that deep-fried food and cake are bad for our health, but what if someone wants to incorporate super-healthy foods into his meals?

The answer is: make the right choice. There are certain foods that are rich in antioxidants, and the best thing about them is that they work on a cellular level.

Our age is defined by how old our cells are, so eating foods such as fruits and vegetables would be the best choice for renewing your cells.

Move Until You Drop

Take this as literally as you can. Physical activity is your main weapon against aging, because once you become sedentary, the process accelerates, and you grow old faster.

From exercising hard to just walking around simply to avoid sitting, physical activity is something you should do for the rest of your life.

Another physical aspect of aging is muscle mass. As you age, your hormones slowly disappear, and you tend to lose your muscles. Keep your muscles strong, don’t skip any muscle group, and do supersets.

This way not only will you stay healthy and fit, but will ultimately ensure your longevity.
