There isn’t a person in this world that likes being under stress. While there are a lot of health reasons to avoid this, you’ll probably start avoiding it like the plague once you find out that stress actually affects how you appear to the opposite gender.

Appeal From The Inside

If you thought sculpting your body at the gym in order to become more attractive to the ladies was hard, wait until you realize what stress does to your appeal.

A team of scientists from the University of Abertay, Dundee, led by behavioral psychologist Fhionna Moore, discovered that women think of guys with high levels of cortisol as unattractive.

Cortisol, a.k.a. ‘stress hormone’, is responsible for helping us cope under pressure.

But like everything else in life, too much cortisol can be unhealthy, as it increases many health risks including the inhibition of muscle growth.

There is an upside to this – men who handle tough situations with a cool head appear sexier to women, so use this to your advantage.
