Our New Year’s resolution is to play more awesome video games and 2017 will definitely make this happen as this is about to be a rather fruitful year for all us gamers out there. Numerous huge releases lie ahead, and there will be some highly anticipated additions to beloved franchises, but we are also in for some serious standalone treats as well.

Buckle up!

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Naughty Dog is giving us The Lost Legacy, which will be a standalone chapter and hopefully a refreshing departure from the usual protagonist, Nathan Drake.

This time around it is Chloe who is tasked with finding the treasure.

You will do your best to trace down the Tusk of Ganesha, which is hidden deep within India’s Western Ghats. Girl power!

Platform: PS4

The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

Us Zelda fans have been looking forward to this game for a few years now, and now the time is nigh. Breath Of The Wild will break from the usual formula and branch into an open-world environment. Hence the name, right? Can’t wait for this one.

Platform: Nintendo Switch

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

Good news for all of you who want to have a full-fledged experience of the Resident Evil series as this installment will actually have support for Playstation VR headset. Just warn your neighbors though before you start playing it via VR so they know what all that screaming is about.

Every True Video Games Fan MUST Have This!

Biohazard is set 4 years after the events of Resident Evil 6. The game features a new protagonist Ethan Winters whose main task is to search for his missing wife Mia. You will eventually end up at a derelict plantation mansion that belonged to the Baker family.

Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One

Mass Effect Andromeda

The wait is finally over, guys – Andromeda is no longer light years away (get it?). So what can we expect from the upcoming installment of the beloved Bioware franchise? Some new stuff actually…

Shepard is no longer the protagonist; there’s an all new ship; new crew; and new badass antagonist. Can’t wait.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

You didn’t think we would miss this one, did you? South Park is one of our favorite shows and since we enjoyed The Stick Of Truth soooooo much, we can’t wait for our but whole to be fractured yet again.

The gang is back with their amazing talent to ever so cynically and sarcastically satirize current events. Get ready for some subtle and gentle mocking of Hollywood and people’s obsession with superheroes and super-teams. This ridiculously funny RPG will give you 12 classes to choose from, and you as the new kid will again be the one who saves the day.
